- Make a single computer be the one you are relying your entire business on
- Partition that computer with both eyes on the “official” recommendations on the partition sizes, not thinking about what use the computer is ment for
- Avoid to make any backups
- DO NOT make the main passwords be noted somewhere, not even on a paper in the companys safe!
That was the situation in a company I looked at yesterday, it is frightening…
Now, I am in the process of making the management be aware of the fact that backup is a good thing (TM), and the time to take the backup is NOW!
The only data that you can trust on is the second set of backup data – because then you got a first set and the main data…
