Installed Office 2007, thought I’d give it a try. The thing I was unprepered of was that the database system used for collaboration data in Outlook, made the computer crawl for more than an hour

The issue was that the database indexing system is not good, making the database look up the sender of the email each time a new mail arrives. I got five email accounts, each got ~400 MB of email. To index ~1.6 TB email took its time, wonder wiat will happend if one connect a Gmail account to the system as well…
