Two small changes to the htaccess-file controling the site made the world tick a little bit better:

First, I blocked the IP-range of a few US Internet Providers, then the regular expression about the WordPress site was changed. These things seemes to have slowed

The Akismet spam history is only a few months old. Some bastard have found this site to be the target of heavy spamming, he / she / it (I dont know what gender these creeps got) are trying to spam the site to

After (what seems as) zillions of spam messages, the solution is near: The death of all spammers.

The killing process is fairly easy: Let the spammers use their hardware on sending spams, but make sure you got mechanisms to stop them.
